About the Organization, ABCD FOUNDATIONs is a national organization, ABCD FOUNDATION directly benefits marginalized women and children as well as health issues and critical illness through our projects in pan India of the country for over a few years and focusing on ending poverty and Social Injustice. ABCD FOUNDATION reached out to 50,000+ children and adolescents directly ( 45% girls) and 87000 Indirectly (41% girls), through our programs our total reached pan India. We do this through our well-planned and comprehensive program focusing primarily on Women and Girls from marginalized communities in the field of Health, Education, Livelihoods, and Disaster Preparedness, also our activities are in a rural area in India, like Maharashtra, Chennai, Karnataka.

Since there have been discussions on our education interventions, I am sharing details on “Support Gudiya” – ABCD FOUNDATION’s hugely successful intervention to promote education. 'Support Gudiya’ which literally means ‘dolls’ is a part of ABCD FOUNDATION’s efforts to ensure education for girls of marginalized groups.

One of the nearest intervention sites in Maharashtra is Mumbai Borivali West, Kapolei, and Khadki. The camp provides learning opportunities to out-of-school girls every year. These girls are in the age group of 5- 14 years and have either dropped out or never gone to school. With Support Gudiya, they get an opportunity to break the vicious cycle of illiteracy and complete basic education in a period of 11 months – a successful example of an accelerated learning approach. The girls get to complete their primary by ABCD FOUNDATION.

We are running an emergency campaign for the enrollment of another batch of 83 children for education and residential support.
